Silque writes songs that are glancing back to the indie rock of the 2010’s and carving out the sound of the future all at once. The trio consisting of Anders Friis, Lauge Heebøll and Mads Kieler aims for carefree euphoria through disco inspired pop rock songs, and their music is filled with dance floor escapism and bright guitars that create the perfect soundtrack for those long, gentle summer nights.
Since the release of their debut album ‘Gloria’ in 2018 Silque has received widespread media attention and they received a five star review for their album ‘Odyssey’ from GF Rock. Silque’s vibrant disco rock has been featured on numerous playlists such as New Music Friday, Danish Indie & Alt., and Nordic Hits on Spotify. Their single ‘Venus’ was used as a soundtrack in a commercial for Stimorol.
